PIEZON® NO PAIN uses piezoelectric technology to produce precise linear oscillations at 32,000 movements per second. The system includes: • A NO PAIN module with adaptive power control — increasing energy only when calculus resistance is detected • An original PIEZON® handpiece for accurate linear vibration transmission • An original PS Instrument engineered to work within this feedback loop Together these elements deliver targeted calculus disruption while leaving adjacent clean surfaces essentially untouched.

PIEZON® NO PAIN is EMS's advanced ultrasonic scaling system built around one principle: deliver energy only where calculus needs it. Unlike magnetostrictive or air scalers, it uses purely linear piezoelectric vibration, and its NO PAIN module continuously monitors tip resistance — scaling up power when it encounters deposits and dialing it back the moment they're clear.

The system operates as a three-part trilogy: 1. NO PAIN module — the adaptive power brain, integrated into the AIRFLOW® Prophylaxis Master 2. Original PIEZON® handpiece — ensures linear, low-lateral-force vibration transmission 3. Original PIEZON® PS Instrument — the precision scaler tip that converts the module's output into gentle, effective scaling All three are required for the full NO PAIN effect. The NO PAIN module uses adaptive power control that monitors tip resistance in real time. Power increases only when calculus is encountered, and decreases immediately when it's removed. This smart feedback: • Prevents unnecessary vibration on clean tooth surfaces • Reduces heat generation and sensitivity during scaling • Eliminates the jarring sensation patients associate with traditional scaling • Creates a gentler, more predictable treatment experience — especially for anxious patients

The PS (Perio Slim) Instrument is a precision-engineered Swiss scaler tip designed for both supragingival and subgingival use, reaching depths up to 10 mm. Its slim, probe-like profile allows access to tight interproximal and subgingival areas with minimal tissue trauma — making it suitable for approximately 95% of clinical scaling cases.

Each PS Instrument is rated for over 1,000 treatments — an extremely low cost per patient. EMS recommends regular visual checks; replace the instrument once wear reaches 2 mm to maintain optimal linear oscillation and treatment precision.
