The PIEZON® 250 is EMS's ultra-compact, stand-alone ultrasonic scaler. It uses the Original Piezon® Method — absolutely linear tip oscillation with permanent feedback control and real-time power adjustment — for safe, efficient scaling across a wide range of clinical applications, from routine supragingival scaling to periodontal, endo, and restorative procedures.

No. The PIEZON® 250 is fully stand-alone and uses a quick-connect bottle (350 ml or 500 ml) for its water supply. This makes it easy to place in any operatory or on a mobile trolley without requiring a fixed water plumbing connection.

The large ergonomic power regulator on top of the unit gives simple, precise control with 35 LED-indicated power increments, including On/Off. The current level is clearly displayed by the LED power indicator so clinicians can set and adjust power without looking away from the patient.

After releasing the foot control, the 6 LED lights on the Original Piezon® LED handpiece continue to illuminate for 20 seconds without instrument movement or irrigation. This helps clinicians inspect the treated area under strong, daylight-quality LEDs to support diagnosis and confirm treatment quality.

The PIEZON® 250 ships complete with the Original Piezon® LED handpiece, a 2-step 360° foot control, and three EMS Swiss Instruments (A, P, PS) each in CombiTorque®. The unit also includes a quick-connect bottle and a peristaltic pump system with an easy-access quick-clip cover.

The PIEZON® 250 is multifunctional. It supports supragingival and subgingival scaling, periodontal treatment, and safe endo and restorative applications — making it a versatile ultrasonic unit suitable for most routine clinical scenarios.
