PIEZON® NO PAIN Built-In Kit

It is EMS's built-in ultrasonic scaler system combining three original elements — the PIEZON® PS NO PAIN Instrument, the PIEZON® Handpiece, and the NO PAIN Electronic Module — integrated directly into the dental chair. It is designed to remove calculus from periodontal and peri-implant pockets greater than 4mm in a safe, minimally invasive, and comfortable way.

The PIEZON® PS handpiece detects calculus by recognizing higher resistance at a rate of 125 times per second. Once calculus is discovered, power transmitted to the instrument automatically increases to remove it effectively — unlike standard scalers, which continuously deliver maximum power regardless of whether calculus is present.

The standard Built-In Kit delivers continuous power at a fixed level, like a traditional scaler. The NO PAIN Built-In Kit adds the NO PAIN Electronic Module, which senses calculus 125 times per second and adjusts power dynamically — increasing only where and when calculus is present, for a more comfortable, minimally invasive treatment.

Four things are required together: the NO PAIN module integrated into the dental unit for dynamic power regulation, the original PIEZON® handpiece, the original PIEZON® PS Instrument, and a clinician trained by the Swiss Dental Academy. Substituting any of these compromises the intended NO PAIN outcome.

Clinically, it offers more precision, minimally invasive treatment, and adaptive power targeted at calculus. For patients, it means a more comfortable experience with reduced need for anesthesia.
